Fundraising for Baby Beat

As mentioned in a recent newsletter, Year 7 pupils Bonnie Howard and Holly Flint, have raised a fantastic amount of money for the charity Baby Beat.

Bonnie Howard (7S), challenged herself to complete continuous laps, for 1 hour, around The Salford Peninsula Football Stadium, raising £1280 for Baby Beat. On Easter Monday, Holly Flint (7S), took on the challenge of cycling around the Guild Wheel … completing 3 laps and raising £823.

On Wednesday this week, the cheque for £1280 was presented to Joanna Allitt, Fundraising Manager at Baby Beat, by Bonnie and Holly, with Mr Botes and also Mrs Wallace, Head of Year 7, in attendance.  Very well done to both Bonnie and Holly, the money raised is going to a very worthy cause.
